Incredibly kind, lectures can be long but she manages to keep you on track. Have to do 8/9 pop quiz so don't miss class. Notes are well written and assist you in studying! Tests aren't too difficult but be ready to know a lot.

She is really nice and try her best to make incredibly difficult class material much easier. You should attend every class even though it starts on 8:30am because she will give us pop quizzes in random class. Also, the final exam is taken home.

One of the nicest professors that I've had at UVic. This class isn't too difficult if you're attending lectures and keeping up with the coursework. However, I would say that the labs were a waste of time and the course material is not all that useful. Clarke isn't the strongest lecturer, but she definitely qualifies as a good prof.

I was expecting econometrics to be much harder but her instructions and notes were very clear and easy to follow. Attendance was only mandatory for the labs, assignments were fairly easy, the midterm was alike to the older ones, the final was hard. Got a B.

Judith is very knowledgable and also very approachable. For me, Econ 365 was an extremely difficult course (prepares you for graduate school)! She is genuinely concerned about her students and will offer all the help you would need as long as you approach her. Loved her, but the class was too hard for me..

I think I am the first person to comment on this prof. I have to do it because she is the best prof I have seen in UVic. She helps students at the best afford.She wants students to succeed and be interested in her topic. The most important thing is she has a very charmful smile.=)

Outstanding teacher and person. Down to earth and is interested in student's opinions about the class and the economics dept in general. Her lecture notes are excellent and exhaustive and lectures are engaging. Also always responds to emails within a couple hours, something very few profs do.

Judith should be a role model for professors in Economics Department. Highly knowledgeable, down to earth, always willing to help her students. Both she and Prof. Giles are gems and pride of econometrics department. Love them!!!
