Judy Godsey is a saint. All you have to do is work with her and she'll work with you. Attempt to actually care and come to class and you'll be fine. Don't get on her bad side, will not be in your favor. Step up in class and she'll commend you for that.

I did not enjoy her class at all. all we did in class was just have controversial discussion and if you don't participate she'll grade hard on your paper. I asked her to help me with this one paper but she didn't help me at all but expected me to write well on the final draft. this class is ridiculous! she's very unfair and weird. I do not like her

As stated previously, not that much content about how to be a better writer other than practicing (4 papers + a couple short in-class ones). Never had any discrepancies with her, although she always took points off for lack of revision when my initial drafts were hardly marked at all by her and given no peer suggestions. Oh well, easy A.

very strange professor. She has a very strange style of teaching which involves very little structure, learning, or actual teaching. She has you write a lot of papers and grades them unfairly and without cause. she doesn't actually do anything to teach you how to become a better writer. Somewhat an easy grade, but her teaching is utterly useless.

Very laid back class but she expects you to participate. Somewhat of an easy grader. Holds "meeting days" where you can get together and go over stuff you are having trouble on, etc. I felt like my writing improved. No tests, quizzes, or exam. Must do a project but it isn't hard.

Professor Godsey is an AWESOME teacher. Her grading is all papers and she is very fair with everything. I had a bad experience with my group members when we did our group projects, and she was very understanding and I still got a great grade. She is somewhat strict on attendance and if you miss a day, you cant make the work up, but she's worth it!

Mrs. Godsey is a great teacher. Her class is very easy because she meets with you about your papers. She wants you to do well in there. Sometimes it is hard to understand what she is saying but you get used to it and can ask her to repeat herself. Attendance is not strict, but she wants you to be there. Shes really funny too... she cusses alot.
