She can go very off top and very in dept. She defiantly knows what she is talking about and tries not to hold a bias but sometimes becomes so passionate in topics she releases her opinion. Participation matters, if you participate she appreciates it. She can be very funny as well as serious. Her assignments aren't too hard either.

Judy is my favorite professor! (She prefers to be called Judy) I would 10 out of 10 reccommend taking her for Soc! She gives out random quizzes based on the reading, but they're fairly easy. Get prepared to work for your grade, she grades essays very tough.

Although she's a tough grader, Judy is an amazing woman and teacher. She really cares about her students. Class participation is ESSENTIAL. You have four papers that are relatively easy, but she is a tough grader so put in the effort. I would recommend this class, you learn a lot.

She is one of the nicest professors. Her class involves a lot of reading and note taking (I filled up two notebooks) but the work is not difficult. She goes the extra mile to help out her students, for example she provides a study guide before the midterm exam. Writing quality is a factor in her grading.

Judith is a very good professor, very helpful, and overall, you learn a lot. She also improves your writing and grammar tremendously. I thoroughly enjoyed my class with her and she remains one of my favorite professors. Participation matters. She goes the extra mile when she sees that you are putting in the effort. Great professor, nice person.

Good Lady, very hard grader. Make sure you do all the readings, which are a lot, or you are not going to pass. She's so nice until she grades all of your work and you realize you aren't up to her level of what an A means to her. Loves talking about feminism

Judy is a great professor. Took her for soc of sport and for gender illness and health. Alot of reading but she always clarifies. Be prepared for a midterm, 12 page research paper and a final. Midterm is tough but managable, DO NOT SLACK ON THE READING! Great professor, cares about her students, and very interesting class.

Awesome person, definitely the best professor at bryant. Very fair with grading. You need to do the reading and go to class, but she is very interesting and the class always goes by fast. She is not biased toward students, she treats them all the same. I Changed my minor to sociology because of her. DEFINITELY TAKE HER. you will learn a lot.

So there are a lot of readings associated with her classes BUT she may be one of the best teachers at Bryant. She knows her stuff and can make it interesting for just about anyone. 2 exams; final is open notes (so just pair up with a buddy and split the readings) ... gives you a study sheet before each test. She is an amazing professor. I have taken her for 3 classes and loved every one of them. She does require a lot of reading and participation but if you read you get a lot out of the discussions and they are pretty enjoyable ... take her if you can she is amazing!

Alright.. Shes the nicest lady in the world but class tends to be a little to politically correct for me. Also.. shes a nazi for participation. If you show up to class every single day faithfully and just dont talk a lot.. you WILL get a C for 20% of your grade... just a warning. 2 exams and one 12 page paper.

Overall good professor. A little vague about some of the things she expects. A lot of outside reading that she expects you to talk about in class the next day. Exams are all writing. Nice lady though and cares about her students.
