If you read the stories its pretty easy and fun class. Shes picks interesting stories for the most part and is pretty leniant with grading so long as you got something out of the reading.

6 essays on different content. A journal is required consisting of a few assignments and about 12 personal entries, checked mid-term and final. Final is a rewrite of one of the first four essays. Mrs. McKibbin is a little loony. We were constantly wondering what was going on in class. She does rant, and gives very little good advice.

Pretty entertaining teacher. Easy on grading, which makes me think that as long as you have learned SOMETHING and can show that, she is content. Tests aren't horribly bad and she even gives an almost accurate outline of what to study the class before the test.

Well, this is a highly crucial course. You must know how to right BEFORE you take the course. Also, you must be able to handle constructive criticism. There are alot of assignments in this class. She will give you ambigious answers, and is obviously uninterested in the success of students. Anyway, I did all the work and received an "A."

She has to be the worst teacher i have ever had through my 4 years in college. I absolutely walked out of that class not knowing anything more than i did when i walked in. She will go off in the horrible tangents that have nothing to do with what she is covering or what will be on her tests. If anyone is planning to take her please RUN!!

She is very old-fasioned, and if your personality happens to clash with hers, you are in for a terrible semester. She doesn't listen to you when you try to talk to her... and thinks "she knows everything, and her students know nothing"! I suggest meeting her before you sign up for her class...

What can I say....Shes a great teacher and very helpfull.....she will work with you and and will consider your problems. She is very punctual and expects you to be too...but a very caring teacher. I recommend her.
