She is great! Expect a tough class but you will learn a lot! She genuinely cares about her students and it shows in her creativity! If you want to really learn spanish, she's the instructor for you!

Its a real hard class if u don't have a million hours a day to devote to memorizing all the vocab, but she gives u lots of extra credit. Be sure to go to class she deducts 5 points for every hour u miss. She's a nice lady though.

This is how a class should be taught. The expectations and assignments are clear and designed to help you learn. She incorporates cultural exploration and games to make it fun. If you are a goof-off, stay away. I learned LOTS.

She expects everyone to know some Spanish already because we live in CA, which isn't true. Tests are easy if you study and she offers a lot of extra credit. Not the best language teacher but a nice person with a decent class. I'd take her again if she was one of the only options. Does care about her students, which is more than most professors.

Her class is really hard and you will struglle with out the proper foundation. If you didnt take her for SPAN 1 or didnt do that well, I'd recommend that you take another prof for SPAN 2 She's an excellent teacher, very helpful, but make sure you really study. I recommend her for SPAN 1 & 2 especially if you really care about learning the language.

I didn't have much trouble with her class, but if you've never taken spanish before it can be REALLY hard from her. She teaches the class like you're supposed to already know Spanish. The class moves very quickly and can be hard to keep up with. She is nice but can be a little condescending and grumpy if you don't know what's going on...

Profesora Rojas was the bomb! I had her for 2 semesters of Spanish and she was extremely helpful and encouraging! She's a VERY stylish lady...always looks GREAT! We called her Profesora BLING BLING!

I found her teaching style to be very effective for myself, as well as my roommates, classmates, and friends. She is very helpful if you ask her to clarify and if you can follow simple directions. These classes have remained my favorite classes out of them all.
