I toook a TON of classes with Judy, and the more she knew you the easier she was on grading you. LOVE her!! She helped my GPA immensely :)

Not a bad person, and I did learn some interesting things in the class (I am a much stronger feminist than I was previously, due to the kind of things we discussed). But it's easy to figure out what you're supposed to say and then repeat it on exams. Also, be prepared to hear urban legends repeated as fact, and be ignored if you point that out.

Has sacrificed femininity for feminism. While I do not always agree with her, she does know a lot about the history of the women's movement. I also took WS 300, and she also was very good about teaching that class.

extremely bitter feminist who seems to make it sound as though it's her way or the highway. just because Brownmiller says something doesn't mean that it's true for everybody! i spend most of my time not even really paying attention.

Brilliant mind. More knowledgeable about current affairs than anyone I have ever met. Challenges you to think but, thankfully, doesn't give you a lot of writing assignments like most of the teachers here.
