She is a fair professor. There are a TON of readings, which are hard to keep up with. She does randomly call on people in class, but she says if you are uncomfortable being called on, let her know and she won't call on you. About 4 papers, one quiz and a final. There was a lot of reading, but other than that, a pretty decent class.

She can be out there at times, but during her lucid moments she shows she knows her stuff. Lots of reading, but skimming the articles will usually suffice. She will call on people at random, but is extremely fair with participation grades. Case briefs seem to be graded at random, but a quiz and final are both scaled in a very fair manner.

She certainly knows what she is talking about, but expects participation and calls on people which can be rough. Not too bad with writing assignments (about 5), no exams except a cumulative final. The reading is tough to keep up with and is necessary to participate. ALL OUTSIDE MATERIALS. Be prepared to use your entire printing budget.

it is amazing to me that this person managed to graduate from law school let alone end up teaching. I got an A in all her classes but had to make sure I didn't pay attention to her - b/c she is clueless... and absolutely rude and mean, apparently as a substitute for lack of intellect

Ground Rules: Big time women's libber. Takes**** off of noone. Sometimes downright rude, but only if you screw up. I took her for net law and Legal theory. The Theory class was outstanding. Show up, say something once a class, do your work, and act interested and you are solid gold. Her chalkboard scribblings are a bit messy but if you are paying attention they work. If you plan to attend law school take the special topics theory course...helps you understand various legal systems... invaluable.

I don't know why people think she's a bad teacher. I've had her like 3 times and I think she's a great woman. Very intelligent, smart, and witty. Yah, she grades hard, but if you don't know how to write, of course you are going to do poorly! Take her!

Great Class. She is funny and interesting. She will call you out if you don't read, but if you do it's funny to watch it happen to others. 4 briefs which are tough, but she will work with you and answer questions. Truly cares about your understanding. Great personality as a professor.

Fun class. She has you kill about 4 million trees printing out all the material/cases for class but it's not really that bad. 4 briefs, a final, and nothing else. Should be a piece of cake if you took any other LGLS courses before. I got nothing lower than an A- on my briefs. She's crazy.
