Seems like a very nice lady, but the grading is unfair and very tough grader. Fails at least half the class on papers. I would never take a class with her again, awful expiernece

Julie is the most beautiful soul jacksonville university has ever seen. If i was ever careless enough to have skipped lecture, she liberally provided help. She is truly a goddess on this campus which brightens the days of every student with every step she takes. Rock on Julie, Rock on. Actually tho, Julie is a highly recommend 10/10.

Julie was great. I took her freshman year and it was fun. You will have to read but she chose different stories of all types, all of which were interesting. Tests are pretty tedious, but as long as you read the stories she posts on blackboard(no textbook needed), and participate in discussion she basically gives you all you need to pass.

Loved the class. Instead of reading boring books we watched movies and analyzed them. Will make you appreciate the little things in movies. Has conferences to go over your essays. You will use the book a lot... but your writing will get better by the end of the semester. Wish I could take her for world lit!

Dr. Brannon is extremely helpful. She understands that most people in the class are not English majors. Se gets really mad when she finds out that no one read the material for the day. (I got an A without reading at all) There is 1 research paper and 1 project. Overall, not as bad as I thought.

She seems to be A FUN TEACHER...BUT MID-TERM AND FINAL ARE HARD...QUIZ EVERYDAY..THEY ARE EASY BUT GROUP PROJECT SUCKS IF YOU HAVE A GROUP THat isnt really a group!MANDATORY ATTENDANCE...DONT USE THE WORDS GET OR PUT IN RESEARCH PAPERS!SHE HATES THOSE WORDS...SHE MAKES YOU ACT OUT LOTS OF STUFF...SO IF YOURE SHY...NOT A GOOD IDEA!

I've had Dr. Brannon for two classes, at first I really felt like the workload was a bit much; we had to read seven lengthy novels in one semester and write papers on all of them on top of an individual term and a project.It seemed really taxing, but anybody can pass her classes successfully with good time allocation and focus.Sparknotes help a lot

I had her for World Lit. Ahe is really a great teacher, her lectures are very informative and most of her test questions come from the lectures. You def. have to read every night and there is a quiz every day but it's not too bad. Her papers and projects aren't too bad but if you don't put in the effort you won't get the grade you want.

She is VERY nice. i had her for world lit, there is a LOT of work involved though. u have to take quizzes every day [u have to in most eh203 classes] there are about 4 big exams if u pass 3 with a's u dont have to take the final. she clearly states everything u must do to pass n will help u.
