Dr. Harris is the best professor I've ever had. This was my first semester in college and I already have a favorite teacher. She has the best lectures every single time you step in her classroom. The tests are difficult if you don't study, especially the listing section where you're required to list a lot of things from memory, but you'll love her!

If you want to make a good grade in this class you will have to work very hard! The material isn't necessarily difficult there is just so much information she throws at you and expects you to know. Every class you take notes and she still expects you learn information outside of class for exams. You will need to also take book tests and a map test.

Her class was just terrible. The worst gen ed EVER. Three different types of tests to take (book, map, and lecture). The tests and a handful of assignments are all she has point wise. She changed her final from 402 pts. To 500 pts. AFTER we took the test, so she screwed us. Honestly, take any other teacher, because its too hard for a gen ed.

TAKE NOTES. She gives amazing lectures, and teaches history with a fascinating perspective. You will feel like you know the period. But really, take notes. Tests are hard, but she provides study guides 10-25 pgs long. 4 main tests and final, 2/4 book tests mandatory, 2 map tests. Very little homework, but get ready for plenty of studying. Worth it!

By far one of my favourite professors. Lectures are almost always interesting, and that's saying something; I suck at history. Had to read two books, but they were easy reads if you put forth the effort. She tells you exactly what you need to know for each test. Quite a bit of memorization, but doable. Made As on every test. GREAT TEACHER!

I took Dr. Harris for lots of classes. She is an amazing lecturer who really cares about the material. In addition, the tests are NOT that hard if you fill in the study guide. You just have to memorize the information. You WILL learn in her class! Take her!!

Dr. Harris is a sweet lady, but her class is the hardest class I've ever taken. She gives many tests, all of which are long and extremely difficult. You will also have to read three novels for her class and test over them. She offers study sessions 3 nights a week that are vital if you want to learn all of the information you will be tested over.

I loved Dr. Harris, but her class is HARD. You need to be there everyday and take very good notes. Her tests are very difficult but they are manageable if you study what is on the study guide. I ended up with an A in the class, but I had to work hard for it.

Extremely challenging class. You must memorize A LOT of material, I repeat, A LOT. You do learn a lot though, and she cares about what she's teaching. She throws a lot of information at you, so be prepared. Good teacher overall, I would ONLY recommend her if you are up for a big challenge.

I can not begin to describe how outstanding Dr. Harris was! Easily one of my favorite teachers of this semester. Her lectures are interesting, and you can see the love and the passion she has for what she is teaching. The tests are somewhat difficult, but if you study for them they are passable! I would recommended her to everyone!!

Very hard class. Forced to memorize a lot of material. She takes pride in her test difficulty. Gets into her lectures. Not recommended if looking for a easy course for a gen ed. She is nice but the class is not pleasant.

Dr Harris is very kind and helpful and very passionate about her subject! She gives plenty of opportunity for extra credit (plenty if you are willing to put the effort into it). I loved her class! She doesn't seem to forget ANYTHING, once she learns your name she knows it. She has lots of interesting lesser known points to her lectures.

She has got to be one of the strangest teachers I have ever had. She is very enthusiastic about history, but sometimes I think it's just a little too much to handle. She's a good, likable woman, but she's just kind of weird. Sometimes her lectures and tests can be overwhelming and stressful, but if you study, you should be fine.

I LOVED Dr. Harris. Yeah, she's difficult but I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. She's a great teacher and actually knows what she's talking about. She keeps you engaged in what she's talking about and makes you want to listen. Don't get into her class if you don't want to work though.

Absolutely one of the best teachers I have ever had. Reviews that state she plays favorites, gives too much homework and has tough tests are all wrong. Well, the test are tough. But other than that she is an excellent teacher. I have had her 3 times and I plan on having her again this next semester. She is engaging, dedicated, theatrical and lucid.

Very nice lady, but very hard class. When she grades essays, she bleeds her life all over them (kind of shocking when you get it back). You'll have more homework than you had been given collectively in your entire 4 years of high school. Very good but extremely difficult.
