Worst class I have taken by far. Class notes and exercises are PACKED with calculation typos which hinders learning considering this class is based on formulas. Teacher gives zero guidance on how to prepare for the exams ; what minimal documents are available for revision end up being nothing like the exams.

She's very clear with her lectures, and explains things slowly enough to make sure that everyone understand. There's a lot of information to learn, but if you have an interest in finance, it's a well organized and interesting course to take.

Horrible class for what was supposed to be intro level. For non-business students? Most-definitely not.. final exam covers over 50 equations on it. She keeps saying over and over how "these concepts are much simpler than the real thing!" If you cannot teach an intro class, stick to higher level classes.

1: MBA like an undergrad. Weekly homework 2: Solutions to questions not given. You did not do homework? You are too slow at copying? Too bad. 3: Problem solving questions in exams are like homework. Multiple Choice are like previous exams. 4: Do not need book. She gives own notes. It is riddled with typos so pay attention in class or ask a friend

Uses poorly written book, summarizes that book in bullet point form and then reads those bullet points out loud in class. Doesn't give answers to practice problems, so you can't practice. Gives problems without explaining how they are related to the subject. I learnt nothing, just underwent a painful experience.

She is the most condescending teacher I have ever met. Also never take anything she says seriously as she always goes back on her words. Don't count on her to learn anything - barely goes through problems and doesn't provide solutions to the book nor to the exams. She is the worst teacher in the MBA Program at Concordia by miles.

2 MC midterms (worth 25% each) which are very fair because the questions come from past finals which are all posted in the common moodle section. She favored solving questions rather than boring us with talking. She makes her own notes with problems which simplifies stuff.

She's really difficult and plus, she is the course coordinator. many take her because they think they will be ready for her final, but they are wrong. unless you are a numbers person and love working on your own a lot, AVOID. At least she gives out her own notes and avoids making you read the book.

I took her class at McGill and didn't like her. Not helpful at all, won't even stop to go over a problem again, you have to stay after class. Exams are really hard and questions aren't like those in the book, they are way harder (specially in the final) the problems will be completely diff from the practice ones. Don't recommend or study a lot!

She will sit there and read her slides all semester and gives the basic knowledge of the material. The only way to get a A in this class is too do practice finals from day 1. Her exams are all multiple choice and very challenging and takes 3 weeks for her to post the grades. Take her if you like working on your own.

Terrible experience in this class. I do not believe anyone left that class inspired, or even mildly content with this teacher. If you're choosing her because of a convenient schedule, it's not worth it.

Straight-forward prof. She gives you all the lecture notes you need in order to succeed. Midterm and Exams do not stray from the notes - textbook useless. Goes really slow and makes sure you absolutely understand the calculations before moving on. It could have been a more interesting course, but she keeps it to the essentials.

absolutely uninterested in the course. her exams are impossible to complete. Fina 402 is known to be the easier FINA, but taking it with her is a GPA killer. take anyone else as you will learn nothing with her.

You learn absolutely no finance. Complete waste of time. MC questions with a formula sheet. Plug the numbers and pass the course without learning anything. avoid at all cost. treats u like a child. she turns one of the possible best courses in MBA to nonesense.

Crystal clear teaching and clearly stated expectations make for a very straightforward class- clear examples done in class and limited number of problems assigned in textbook are sufficient to get a good grade in this class, along with a good knowledge of the theory on the slides. No surprises on exams.

My friend told me not to take her class, but I did. The midterm was straight forward ,the final was not be as well-prepared as she had done for the midterm. If you are English speakers or born here, take her class (she gives you free marks for interpretation questions (9%) of the exams). Highly recommended!

Very good teacher. She is always there to answer questions, her exams are straight forward. Her class is well given. Before taking this class I saw all the comments about her and I was expecting the worse, but she is not like most of the people are saying. I truly recommend her.

WORST teacher I have ever seen. Will not use real life examples, truthfully does not like to help, expects students with divers background to know everything already, does not care about effort provided, does not suggest helpful tools to catch up and does not mind failing students in her class - rcvd MANY complaints. Stay as far away as possible!!
