I took Ecology with the lab and let me tell you, this is the worst class I have ever taken. She is unclear, impossible to meet with outside of class, and condescending. Her lectures make no sense and exams are way too specific. The book is the only thing that will teach you about ecology, her lectures are about climate change. The lab was unclear

Interested in ecology? This class is not for you. Her lectures are primarily defining vocabulary and rants about climate change. Every assignment give was on climate change, not ecology. Have a question about an ecological concept? She'll make the answer about climate change. Only plus is that the exams are easy if you're good at memorization. 0/10

If you intend on taking ecology, you may as well just forget about it and sign up for her climate change class instead. this woman only talks about climate change, which is irritating when you sign up for a principles of ecology course... Not to mention she isn't clear, impossible to see outside of class, and her tests are out of left field. 0/10.

This class was the only lab class that fit my schedule. What a joke that lab is. It is not a real lab so get prepared for pointless games and marathon lectures. Yes, lectures that go for class time & 3 hr lab time. Also be prepared to get dedicate a weekend sat and sun 9-5 to producing videos with classmates in a group you do not pick. Do not take.

She certainly wasn't the worst professor I've had but I am not a fan of hers. Her personality is what irks me the most but she's extremely knowledgeable and will explain topics if asked. Be prepared to write down everything she says - information is given primarily through lectures. Smalleasy assignments, a couple exams, and a group project.

This class is unusual, what makes it very interesting. Video creation and role-play games during the semester made course entertaining. It changed my perception of reality and now I am curious about this problem. You should take it definitely. it will change your life.

She's annoying, uninteresting, and treats every class like an environmental activist meeting. She was constantly revising the syllabus and adding assignments (i.e. she would assign things on Tuesday that were due on Thursday without any warning). Her climate change class made me care LESS about climate change. Avoid if you can.

Took her climate change class! People don't do too well on the exams but if you ace all the other assignments, you will ace the class. Had to make a video project which was annoying but easy. She's more concerned with students being a climate change activist. If you have the time and don't mind working hard, take this class!
