While she is oftentimes strict and a bit tough on students, she's definitely fair. She posts a review sheet for the exam that has everything you need to study on it that's mostly straight from the Powerpoints. She tells you exactly what she wants on reports and such. She's extremely blunt, but she does care about her students, if you respect her.

I love Dr. Middleton! She's very interesting, and she helps you understand the material if you don't understand. She's also really funny because she loves to make jokes during recitation. She's a really great teacher because she uses powerpoints that are basically summaries of the chapters.

learned a lot in this class. her teaching style is helpful.. she posts powerpoints, you bring them to class and she goes through them.. tests are literally straight from powerpoints if you pay attention and study a bit theres no reason not to get at least a B for the semester.. recitation is extremely helpful as well.. good teacher overall!

She is a wonderful teacher- learned a lot in the class. If you attend class, and study from her study sheet you will ace the tests. Very helpful. Genetics ended up being my favorite class. Middleton is awesome.

She is the best professor I have had in a long time. If you study there is no reason you will fail. I wish she would teach genetics, but I will definitely take her microbiology class. I got an A in the class and it was not hard to get it. Every exam is directly from the notes and nothing extra. If you show up to every class you will not fail.
