Good bcs tells you what you need to memorize for test. Bad bcs too much material per lecture. Most test questions are doable if you memorized everything. So not bad overall, but not definitely not my fav prof in Bioc 311.

Tries very hard to get the material across and is enthusiastic as possible at 830am. Exams questions range from very easy to super hard but he always will answer your questions if you email or go see him. Getting better as the years go by.

None of his notes make sense, they are a complete fog to me. He gets frustrated with students who don't understand, and makes the WORST jokes I've ever heard. They're worse than the usual corny groaners you get from science teachers - they don't even make sense.

Kalle Gehring is one of the nicest, most approachable profs. in the biochem department. Unlike most other profs. he teaches with enthusiasm and has a sense of humour to boot. He is one of the most genuine, good spirited teachers i have ever had and I am surprised at the previous comments.
