Horrible professor was not clear on what she wanted for her lap reports from the beginning and left some students behind. This took its time through a third of a semester and then after she graded us she gave us all zeros. After a couple of us tried to catch up she said we had no chance so we dropped the class. very nice person and willing to help.

Professor Anderson knows very well what she teaches. She expected to come prepared to class not much time for questions. You must be ready to work, attendance is very important is not easy to have A B in her class. You must earn it.

This class drove me crazy. It is a lab and she wouldn't shut up. I am not kidding, there were a few weeks that we didn't even have time to do experiments because she wouldn't stop lecturing! When you have a 20 question test she makes you cross everything out and only answer 4-6 questions, which leaves NO ROOM for error. I really hated this class.

definitely a better lecture professor than a lab one. She lectures all class & doesn't give priority to experiments. do work book 50%, 3 (15% each) exams, study from work book u can pass. Didnt let us know our grades fast & made us wait 2 weeks. she woulnt discuss the final grades in class either! nor by email. makes u wait till theyr up on mdc page

Ms. Anderson is nice and she is def more of a lecture prof than a lab prof (I think she should teach lecture and would be awesome at it). But for lab, you can pass b/c 50% of grade is labbook work and attendance/attitude! So DO THE WORKBOOK and write everything down, go to class, and get maybe 50% of each test right. You'll do fine. Recommended.

Professor Anderson is a great lecturer (even though i had her for lab). If she ever teaches CHM1033 lecture in the future and has spot is available I would highly recommend nabbing it asap. Labs experiments were interesting, especially the mixing of carboxylic acids with alcohols to create pleasant esthers. She has an A for awesome in my book =]

She is a no nonsense professor but a very nice person. DO THE TXT BOOK WORK!!!! If you don't you are destined to fail. If you study the lab sections in the book you will pass the test simple. Chem is not my favorite sub but the labs are easy and lots of fun.

This professor should not teach. She speaks as if she were with her peers with her level of knowledge not students. Ask questions she makes you feel very dumb. She is more of a show off than a teacher.Rushes you out of class before time when she's ready.Do not take her class if you want to learn chemistry. Only if you have a Ph D already.

I think her name is spelled Karon. Her grading in lab is fair, you have to study! It's a science course, so go to class. Everything on her exam are in the lab book, she uses the test bank for the chemistry department, but no surprises.

Proffesor Anderson is a good person and she knows her stuff. But unfortunately she does not know to teach, I had to learn on my own. Her tests are like for med students. If you are ok studying on your own and love chemistry you might pass her class.Good luck if you take her class.

She's nice. Can't Teach. Took her 4 lab (we didn't do most of the experiments hands on) & lecture. In her LECTURE her tests r fill in blank, no curves or extra credit. Her reviews just pinpoint what u should know, & when u get the test its at an advanced level at what most students would see at a 2000 level. My class began w/ 30+ students Left: 11

Lecture are out of this world. She can make chemistry concepts as easy as taking candy from a baby. That don't go by saying test are super hard - of course not impossible. Overall great teacher if you want to truly understand chemistry. This is not a memorize and spit it back out class. You will learn chemistry.

She teaches chemistry in a straight-forward way and takes her time. She's always willing to help students before and after class, and within a day via email. She made chemistry easy to understand and apply. Since it's a class for nursing students, she made sure everything was relevant and applied them to clinical settings.

I didn't really expect to like the chemistry lab, but she made it so enjoyable. I really liked this class and this professor. Also, she gives hints as to what will be on her exams, so listen. I definitely recommend this instructor. She knows her stuff, is incredibly enthusiastic, and enjoys teaching.

I have never been more nervous over an exam, or class in my life as I was in this class. That said, I managed to get an A. If you like a challenge then I suggest you keep her as a professor. Her test requires you to know the material very well. She is very helpful and accessible(email)and class is fairly interesting and she speaks very well.
