An excellent CORE professor. She was very good at creating discussion within the class and keeping it fun and interesting, even during the times when the course material itself was a bit dull. She is an easy essay grader, especially if you come up with ideas that are outside the box.

Wow. To be honest, I came in for my first French course at VU and she utterly amazed me with her coolness. She's relatively easy (but not over-doing it) and she's ALWAYS willing to give you a hand and 2nd chances. Highly recommend her to any French students searching for sections.

I worked my class schedule around her availability...an amazing prof. the best ive had at valpo the past 3 years. go to her with ANY problems/concerns...even if it's not for her classes. will help you with anything. looove her! very informal prof. very friendly!

She loves to have story days and will tell you real facts that are relavant!Quizes are when you want them and there is a lot of in class exercises where she will call on everyone, however if you dont seem so good at something she mite keep on quizing you, which is a good learning tool.

Prof. Berrier is a wonderful prof, one of the nicest and most understanding at Valpo. Even though she is by far the easiest prof in the French department, I learned a lot in her business French class. She makes class fun, too!
