Comment:

The class isnt difficult but you will have a lot of work to keep up with. Karens lectures are good, especially on the interpersonal and cultural communication materials. This particular class was challenging because IT was supposed to deliver laptops before class started but they were often late or didnt show up. Not karens fault - great prof!

Comment:

Karen is a really good prof. I didnt want to take this course but had to, and Im so glad I had her! She expects a lot of students but its because she wants you to succeed. Homework is always posted the same day, marks are calculated quickly so you dont have to wait for days or weeks to get them, and shes available for extra help outside class.

Excellent teacher! Ive had many courses with many instructors at Camosun and Karen is one of the best. Explains everything clearly, good sense of humour, very helpful if you dont understand something. I am already looking for a course I can take with her next term!

Karen is an amazing teacher. She was very knowledgeable, made class interesting, cared about students and was always there to answer questions. She gave marks back fast and was reaposonsive to emails even during the holidays. There were lots of little assignments which was nice to boost your grade up. I would take her class again in a heartbeat.

I enjoyed having Karen as a teacher. Her lectures and were always clear, and she demonstrated everything in a way that I could always understand. She's knowledgeable, and knows how to teach! There were no surprises on exams, and she always gave practice exams.

I do recommend students to take Karen's class. Her class is well-organized, and the texts and exams are gonna be exactly s you know the course outline and the course content. Her class is easy to follow up if your are familiar with the computer, but she is willing to help students to figure out problems. You will get a good mark after hard work:)

She's a great teacher! I would recommend taking as many classes with her as possible. There is a lot of home in the Bus-140 class but as long a your show up for class, keep up with the homework and show you want to learn she will be a great fit!

Now that I have completed the program I can say that Karen is by far the best teacher in ABT.She knows the English language so well, and she makes it FUN (yes, you read that right) to learn.She has the right number of assignments, gets marked work back to students quickly, and goes out of her way to give extra help before tests. Excellent prof! A++

I can honestly say karen is the best teacher I have ever had. She really knows her material and she makes the course so much more than it would have been otherwise by bringing in whole lot of outside knowledge to the class. She changed the way I think about myself and how I relate to others. She inspired the whole class to do more and be more.
