I loved the subject and saved my textbooks but dropped the class. SHE IS SO BORING. She manages to say the same thing about 6 million different equally boring ways in an hour and fifteen minutes. Avoid her. If you like the subject just read some books on it.

Although Professor Eggleston may be criticized for teaching out of the book, she is extremely fair and helpful. She really wants her students to succeed and even offers and alternative paper to be worth a portion of the final gade. If you ever have any questions she makes herself readily available. I recommend taking her class. Straightforward.

I'm an econ minor, but this class was awful. I attended all the classes and did the reading, but it wasn't enough. The lectures were some of the most boring econ lectures I've sat through. Try to avoid her.

clear presentations although she basically reads from the book. You only need to do one or the other - read the chapter or go to the lecture on that chapter. Her exams are straightforward and she offers many review opportunities.

She's very organized straightforward. Exams are long, with some challenging questions, but they are for the most part fair. She also offers several grading options. Very approachable and patient. Health economics is also pretty (surprisingly) interesting.
