I had two classes with her in total and she has been very helpful. Coming from a non-English speaking background, taking English classes usually mean intimidation. But she is so encouraging that I felt can even continue further.

A wonderful person and great prof in terms of class discussion. However, her grading expectations were difficult (25% of the final grade for a 70 minute midterm, and we never got feedback on our final papers or exams, which constituted the larger portion of our grades.

She's a great prof. Alot of group work I find annoying, but you know what? It forces you to read the books, because she walks around and can tell if nobody out of the three or four people at your table read. Never trust a professor rating from someone who can't even spell it.
