Based on other responses, I was nervous to have her. She was fantastic, lots of supplemental material and facilitates critical thinking. Lots of weekly reading, but it's a 6 credit class. Read the summaries she provides, always use the writing coach, and participate on discussion boards. A great class that makes students grow.

Comment:

Dr. Klisch is a good professor overall. Even though the content seemed scattered I think it was LEO's weird interface and not really her doing. She is very harsh when grading grammar and APA format so make sure to use your manual and library resources. Had a good experience overall.

Dr. K seemed a little scatterbrained, but overall was a good instructor. Gave great feedback, grades harshly on proper grammar & APA format - take the time to make sure this is done correctly. Use the WC & listen to feedback. Participating early & often is important. Course work itself is not difficult, but will take time & effort for a good grade.

My first class very hard marker dampens your self confidence some. One of the hardest markers UMUC so far. Would not recommend this professor possible power trip going on?

Student Beware! Klisch's presentation of her material can be best summed in one word: sloppy. Her material was not well formulated and many things such as due dates were not consistent between what she had on her messy syllabus and what was posted on WebTycho, the system UMUC uses for class-related submissions. As professors go, she is a failure.

The class was not easy, but it was enjoyable as far as Management classes go. Dr. Klisch provides lots and lots of feedback, which is something I really appreciate. She is readily available for questions or clarification. Overall, a good experience.

Dr. K grades heavily on grammar and proper APA format. There are a lot of conferences in MGMT 615 and her 4 assignments are all 5-6 page papers. Information is relevant and enjoyable. She will question you, making you a better leader. I have really enjoyed this class, but I put a lot of work into it as well.
