Relatively easy online course, takes some time each week just to read the poems/stories or work on your papers but definitely a breeze compared to taking comp face to face. Miller explained eeerything clearly and gave fair grades.

This is a really easy A class. You should probably read the stories/poems assigned. I know people who do well by not reading, but still. This is an English class. You're supposed to read. There are two essays, which are both fairly easy to write. I enjoyed my time with Professor Miller.

Stay far away! This "teacher" does not like students and gets exasperated with those who struggle or don't understand her confusion. I wasn't directly victim to this treatment but I was made uncomfortable each class as it happened to classmates...

She is a really nice teacher that cares about her students and wants them to do well. She hates when students are late to her class. She gives about five grammar quiz but drops the lowest quiz grade. There are four essays and they weight the most so get them reviewed by someone in the learning center. Overall easy class.

Very easy class! simple stories to read as were the papers. She is very nice and always willing to help. She will help you with something step by step until you understand it...also she HATES late people...never be late! and she keeps you up to date on angel but you cannot make up quizzes or in class assignments

Professor Miller is a great teacher! This online class was VERY well structured and easy to follow. Not a ton of work, much less than my comp I and II classes. The quizzes are challenging and timed, so make sure you read and re-read the poems and short stories. She stays in frequent contact with her students and is always willing to help!

Took American Lit. online. Would highly recommend Prof. Miller. Very clear with instructions, great feedback, prompt grading, always kept in touch with students. Lots of work in this course, but VERY organized making it easier. Lots of writing and tests, but not too hard. Tests are timed and go quickly, so prepare ahead of time or you won't finish!

I took this class online and I loved it! Professor Miller picks interesting materials and gives ample time for all assignments. I am sad that I'm done with this class. I highly recommend! Do all the readings and follow all material she gives you and you can get an A no problem!

BUYER BEWARE! I chkd this website b4 enrolling in her class and took it at face value. I should have looked all the way back to 2004 and 2003 ratings left here. She is not tolerant of students and can be quite mean. I love composition, reading and writing but this experience was not good.

I loved Professor Miller! FIL 2030 was my favorite class this semester and she was half the reason. We had debates about a ton of ton of different things concerning films and Prof Miller was always encouraging it and adding her point of view. Great class!

Professor Miller is GREAT! I highly recommend her! I have maintained an "A" so far, and we are almost 1/2 way through the summer session. When I took Comp I (with a different professor), I passed with a "C". Professor Miller has great feedback and is always positive and very helpful!
