The book is not necessary, but if you are a SPAA major I would get it. The test are purely off lecture, attendence isn't taken,but I would go just notes. She is nice and helpful. You will have to write to APA style 5 page papers, but the first one is graded very lightly, the second more harsh.

This class was very easy. If you pay attention in class, you'll have an A. The tests match exactly with the powerpoints. We had to write two 5 page papers. They weren't too hard.Luckily, I really enjoyed this class and the teacher-you can't aviod her if this is your major.

The only thing I have bad to say about her is that she grades kinda hard on papers and projects that she assigns. Like one time she contradicted herself by writing "this is good" on something on my paper and then at the back page of the paper said you need to improve on the same thing...
