DR KARI IS AN AMAZING PROFESSOR. If you want to take intro physics at MAC, please take his classes. His lectures are very clear and easy to understand. They're interesting and as for the midterms, if you do the past ones, you're good to go. The exam was okay, but I def recommend this prof.

Kari is an amazing prof! His lectures are very interesting, he explains content well and wants his students to do well. The course is easy if you had high school physics but do well on the midterms as the exam is slightly more difficult. LONCAPA is your best friend in this course.

Kari is an awesome prof. He makes sure we all understand the concepts and his lectures are really fun. Hes the kind of prof that makes you enjoy the lectures even if you hate the subject. His tests are really fair. If youve taken high school physics its an easy A. Totally recommend him for this course.

Best physics teacher/prof I have ever had. He is great at explaining physics concepts and more amazingly, manages to make physics fun and enjoyable (this man is unbelievable). The course is a breeze yet I think I actually learned a lot of physics by the end of the course.

Kari is a great prof, no matter how much you think you hate physics you will reconsider this thought after his class. His passion for teaching and physics transfers to his lectures making them educational and exciting. Class does start off slow but by the end of the semester it is much more challenging and requires more work.

I had a lot of fun in Kari's classes. He explains things well and covers a lot of conceptual-type questions in class in order to optimize your understanding of the topic. He also adds in a bit of humour and interesting videos to his lectures which really helps to keep your attention. I'd love to take another class taught by him!

Dr. Kari is a hot guy and he always makes lots of joke. His lecture is not bored even I had the 8:30 lecture in the morning, and never fall asleep! He takes care the student a lot and the test questions are not hard if you know what he said during the lecture. But if you want to do well, you need to do more practices by yourself. easy A i would say

The lectures were very long and initially slow-paced, but quickly became harder to keep up with. Not to say the course was very hard, as the labs and final group project are easy mark boosters. The tests & exam were annoying because they were marked out of 25, so even the smallest mistake in conceptual physics had a huge impact on your grade.

Kari was ana amazing physics prof. Made it very easy to do well in this course. Modules were a huge help. Lectures cleared up almost all misconceptions and office hours were also very useful. Gets down to the nitty gritty of physics, the concepts and the rest is just math! :-)

A great prof who seems excited to teach. Super clear and does great demonstrations in class. Lectures are mostly iclicker questions so we apply our knowledge and understand concepts. He hints at what will be on the midterm and gave a practice midterm. I've never taken physics before and hope to do well. This prof makes it not intimidating!
