Comment:

The class was pretty straight forward. You have five units, and in each unit, there are about 5 small assignments and a test. The assignments are a little time consuming. You have access to all of the assignments and test right away so you can work at your own pace, but she does have due dates for them.

Comment:

The class was based off of an online software system and you had access to everything, even the final, from day 1. This allowed students to work at their own pace, but there were monthly check-ins to make sure you were on track. Kari gave extra credit every Tuesday that you showed up and makes sure that her students succeed. Would take again!

Kari is one of my favorite teachers! I love taking her classes. She makes sure that everyone understands what is going on in the class and is willing to help if you need it. I find her to be someone that is easy to talk to and she makes her classes fun. She seems to love to make jokes during class.

There is a lot of material to cover in this course. She gives you tons of information right at the beginning of the course and it can be a bit confusing and overwhelming. Once you get into the course it is just a matter of completing your work on time. Showing up to class isn't required except for one day as the material is online.

Having taken other Microsoft classes where the teachers thought their class was the most important thing in the world, Kari Wood was very refreshing. You learn a lot but it also isn't too much work. Just do the work and you'll get an A. If you can't pass this class it's because you are lazy. Take her online, she's easy.

Excellent professor! I highly recommend taking a course with her. She's very friendly and helpful. However, she has strict deadlines but its a good things because it kept me on pace the entire course. Being online she was always there for questions no matter when. She even called me from home to step me through website issues.
