An air of superiority but not quite snobbish. Tests are tough: asks specific questions. Reading is highly advised. Assigns busy-work. Didn't have the short quizzes people mentioned. She answers questions and is helpful if you're serious. Very interesting class--if you don't like her or want an easy class, then I suggest Professor Martin.

Very articulate, almost snobby in demeanor. Good discussions, but a lot of times it's awkward because no one wants to participate. Make sure you read your textbook and write your weekly papers regularly, rather than letting them pile up until the day before finals. Wouldn't have been tough to get an A if I hadn't slacked off.
