She was a really good teacher. The only thing was that the tests are only like 25 questions so if you miss a few questions you're kinda screwed for the rest of the test. Really kind and really showed how much she cared about you as a student and your success.

She's so helpful. Don't buy the book. She uses MyMathLab and the book is built in there. The only thing that wasn't great was her tests were only worth 20-25 points. So if you miss one question your grade drops a lot.

Had her this semester (SP 2012) for Quantitative Reasoning. If only all professors were as helpful, patient, and enthusiastic, we'd all be A students! Being an "older" student, I knew little more than how to balance a check book, and incorporating the alphabet was NOT something I had an interest in understanding. Dr. Childs gave me that interest!

Great teacher and goes over everything until you know it, even if it takes 30 minutes of alternate examples. Homework online and on-board examples count to grade, but on-board examples don't account for much. Just show up and do the work and you're GOLDEN!
