Karmen is so awesome, and always ready to help. She will do anything to help you succeed. Lots of papers for the lab, and assignments. She gives good feedback though, and there is room for improvement. E-mail's back quickly. I absolutely loved her and she is the only thing that made RDA bearable. Content is very difficult.

Get ready to work. She is a SUPER tough marker, but she provides excellent feedback on the papers. I failed my first paper; the whole thing was just covered in corrections. I went to go see her, and my mark pretty much increased by 8% each paper I handed in. I feel like I am really well prepared to write an honours thesis after taking this class.

I love Karmen! She is so intelligent, passionate, helpful, and kind. I could listen to her talk for hours and I left every lecture replaying what she taught me. Her tests are incredibly tough, but you learn so much it is completely worth it!

Karmen is a hard marker, but she will do anything to help her students and gives good feedback so that you can keep improving which to me is the best thing a prof could do for a student. If you need help go see her! She is so approachable and friendly and will make time to see you outside her office hours if need be. Favorite prof as of this year.

Karmen is a boss. Basically thats all you need to know about her. But if you care to know more, she is a pretty tough marker, but she is fair and actually makes sure that you learn something. Her class is really interesting and she is a great lecturer, just dont expect an east A.

The most ridiculously hard marker I have ever come across. Expects 2nd years students, who are learning brand new concepts and topics to write like they're writing their dissertation. She is unbelievable. Organized yes, but all in all I couldn't stand her. I also found her condescending.
