She is intimidating at first, but she becomes nicer over time. She gives out a lot of extra credit, so make sure you do all of it. Her exams are very long, but if you study enough you'll be able to finish on time. Most of the teaching she does is in the lab, so try to take her for the lab as well.

Dr. Ng gives bunch of extra credit which bumps up your grade by a lot and thats a big plus for everyone. She is sometimes difficult to understand but just PAY ATTENTION. Go to lecture, and do the homework. By studying the HW problems you could ace all quizzes every week. Be responsible and don't blame professors for your own laziness!

I have not taken an online class before this, so I was not that ready for the onslaught of challenges that I faced with her. She's extremely unorganized and makes a lot of wording mistakes, which confused me and made my notes difficult to understand when I went back to them. A lot of unnecessary rambling for her obscure analogies, too. Frustrating.

Terrible professor, hard to understand her accent. She does not have a good fundamental grasp of the concepts she teaches, just pulls straight from the text. Terrible lecturer, spends the whole time reading her slides word for word and banging on the white board. Very easy class, do not take if you are interested in environmental chemistry.

this professor makes this online class much more difficult than it has to be. on top of required video post, constant forum posts, and quizzes, the worst part is that the professor is extremely unclear on the instructions, and her moodle page is almost like trying to read a foreign language. my overall experience was so terrible that i had to drop.

She really does know her stuff. Everything that we did was necessary information for the exams or online quizzes. The online homework really helps you understand. Reading the book along with the lecture notes really helps clarify questions you might have later on. Ask a lot of questions if you don't understand. She'll answer them until you do!

Honestly I was intimidated at first cuzz of all the sketchy reviews but she isn't that bad. She's actually pretty funny. Most of her exam questions come from the online quiz questions. so if u remember the answer your good. Gives out a bunch of bonus points more than other chem250 teachers/ plus her exams are shorter! I would take her

Excellent professor. Very helpful during office hours and tries to be funny during lecture, which makes the class less stressful. Anyone who says this class is hard shouldn't have taken a chemistry course in the first place. Easy class and great professor. Get her if you can!

this is by far THE WORST PROFESSOR I have ever had. she cannot speak english, she cannot write in english, she is ruthless - she acts as though she wants everyone to fail. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HER CLASS AS POSSIBLE!

took online course. very easy. read 1 chapter a week and do 1 quiz and 1 assignment per chapter a week. Assignment you can do twice and the better grade is used. you take the quizzes online are easy and u have enough time to use book to help you out. 1 midterm and 1 final. I recommend taking the online class.

Not even 1/2 way through the semester and I'm already hating this class. The homework has nothing to do with what we are doing in class. Horrible idea to have the homework online where the website thinks "protons" and proton" are 2 diffrent things. You answer the quetion right but still comes up wrong.

This teacher was the worst I've had in a long long time. I actually enjoy chemistry and she made it a living nightmare, DO NOT TAKE NG FOR CHEM 250! You will suffer for the entirety of the semester. quizzes every lecture. wow. just wow.

She's a good online teacher. Although her online video instructions are really badly put together. Reading the book helped bigtime. She's helpful though and fair with extra credit opportunities. Tough asian-accent to understand but there are worse. Overall shes good for teaching less-intense demanding chemistry classes.

She is a great teacher, compared to Jaisen. She wants respect from her students. Her power points are helpful and shows okay examples. Her exams were somewhat difficult, but if you spend a lot of time that a chemistry course needs you will do fine. Offers lots of extra credit and bonus points.

ok before registering for this class just know that she doesnt speak english very well so it is hard to understand her. she is not very clear about what the tests will be on, and she has little patience when it comes to helping students individually. i suggest not taking her unless you are very well grounded in chemistry
