Kate's Senior Portfolio class was very interesting and I am glad I chose to take it with her. If you take her class but don't attend in-class you will need to do the online class assignments, which some didn't know.

Kate is an absolutely amazing teacher. She's quick to respond to emails and when I found myself struggling with an assignment. When my counselor wasn't responding when I had to sign up for courses, she sat next to me for nearly two hours and showed me how to sign up for classes. Totally awesome teacher and human being all around.

One of the best CNMS teachers I've had so far. She's very sweet, very helpful, and wants you to really get something out of the class. She really gives room to create in your projects while still guiding you. It's fantastic.

Took these two classes with Kate back in 2003/2004. Surprised by the sad faces in the other comments. I personally felt she was one of the best teachers in the new media program. She was very helpful to me. If you show up and do the work, you'll do fine. Dont' be afraid to askher for help..she will give it to you.
