Looking back 3years ago, I am grateful to have take prof Wolford. She does grade tough, but gives you incredible feedback to become a much better academic writer. If not for her, I would be struggling with my paper writing at IUSB. Learned a lot from her class that I still remember 3 years later. Highly recommend.

On the first day I thought she was going to be SO mean but she ended up being a wonderful professor! She is funny and makes the material enjoyable. Covers the readings in class enough to make sure everyone is able to understand it. Tough grader and tough class but I would HIGHLY recommend her!

Really enjoyed this professor! Although some of the content she has you read is sort of challenging, she will have days where she will spend the entire class period lecturing over the reading (that does not mean you should not try to read it yourself first). Her feed back is specific, especially when you see her in office hours

Honestly, when I first met her, I was intimidated and she seemed really mean and rude, but as the class went on I learned that she is awesome and was one of my favorite teachers.

She comes off a little harsh at first, but don't let that fool you. She is very willing to help and provides great feedback on your papers. She always goes over the readings and points out passages that are very helpful for the papers. Regular attendance is a must, but it doesn't ever feel like a chore. I really enjoy being in her class.

She makes sure that all students understand the assignment and will explain what each writer means in the readings. She does like to see student's opinions layered into the papers that are written, and she never takes away points for not agreeing with her opinion. Plus she is really easy to talk to, and she has some funny stories to tell.

Probably the best prof I've ever had. She is helpful, very clear, and truly wants her students to learn and do well. She is very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help her students in any way she can. I learned a lot in this class and would love to take another class of hers again. I love her! She always was extremely helpful, office hours were always available, and she always had time to answer any and all questions. I do not consider her a know it all, but just a teacher who has been in teaching for many years and knows her stuff. The only way you would fail is if you did not show up for class.
