Here's the skinny! Do ALL the assignments , and you'll be fine. Norris is willing to work with you one on one practically anytime anywhere. Be prepared for some reading. She normally assigns a big project due sometime late Nov. Follow the project timeline and again you will do fine. No late homework accepted, and late papers lose 2 grades.

She is a phenomenal teacher. Rather than worry about your grade, she actually cares that you understand the material. She really ensures that you remain interested in the material. She is very organized and makes everything clear and does not leave you to wonder what is due. I would take any course that she would teach again.

She doesnt give A's maybe 2 a semester. Unreal. Nothing is ever good enough for her and if it is i guarentee she still wont give you an A. She will have you do reactions every week, but then correct your opinion on the readings... how is that an opinion then?? there isnt a wrong answer. She will make you never write another run-on sentence again.

The class as a whole was so incredibly fun and just so great. I like to talk and debate so it was worth my while. There were quite a few papers, very short, but writing is not really my forte. I bombed the research paper but ended up with a 'C' so I was happy. She's great, but very easy and simple compared to other English teachers I've had.

She was a great person and willing to help. Her class was one of the most demanding classes I've taken but her pushing me the way she did, I learned a lot in her class. As long as you work hard and study, you'll do fine in her class. I'm not a fan of english what so ever and I di fine in her class.

Ms. Norris is a great teacher to have. She does give out a ton of work and expects a lot from you. However, she tries to make it as fun as possible. She'd probably go crazy if she saw all the spelling and grammatical errors on her comments.

At first, I thought she came of kind of as a ****, but when I got to know her more, I decided that she wasn't. She definitely will keep you there to the last minute of class, but the class is pretty interesting, especially when you get into a class wide discussion.

Great teacher, likes to talk a lot. It is hard to get an "A" in her class, but the class was enjoyable and you do learn a lot. She is very critical when grading papers.
