For me, as an accounting major, management is very boring. For each chapter we had to do online HW and Quiz, and a lot of times questions did not make any sense because they were not written by professor, but were retrieved from the pool of questions from the book, so they were really weird. But Ms. Bates is pretty cool.

i really enjoyed this class. she has tons of personality. a lot ofr eading but exams u can have a page of notes for every chapter. make sure u read nad tke notes and the rest of the class is good. 1 debate but its easy! i highly recommend this teacher!! take her! oh. and get the intl version of the text much cheaper!

I've never disliked a class so much. Sure it was easy, but she's the most offensive unprofessional teacher I've had yet. Worthless class, you won't learn a thing. We spent all class answering questions like "Give me an example of a stereotype." If you think I'm joking - go find out for yourself.

Dr. Bates knows her stuff. This HR class was fun and informative. Attendance is mandatory because she puts a lot of weight on participation points. Final is old test questions. All are mutltiple choice only. Get a good group since 2 projects are done together.

Prof. Bates is one of the best instructors at CSUSM. She has fun in her class, and demands that her classes be interactive. She allows a page, front and back, of notes per chapter for the tests. That is why I rated it easy. She wants the students to learn the subject and makes every class fun. I would suggest her to anyone who wants a fun easy clas

Dr. Bates is a great teacher and a great person. Gives good examples during lecture. Allows 1 page of notes per chapter on the exams. Study the book well with good notes and you will perform fine. The Final is composed from the previous 3 exams. Stay on top of the reading and enjoy the stories!

Excellent class for any business major. She is very clear on what is expected for the power points and the exams are right from the book. No surprises. The information I learned from class discussions and the book helped me land a job in an industry that I have been trying to get my foot into for a long time. at the 350 word limit or I'd type more.

Good professor. Helpful and knows her stuff. Tests are M/C and cover material from the book. Power-Points are due on exam days, so they end up being a great study aid. But, just knowing the vocabulary words from each chapter is enough to do well on all of the tests.

BEST TEACHER EVER! She is so down to earth. Knows we'd rather be at the beach-she would too. You get one cheat sheet per chapter for the test and the final is the top 100 most missed questions from the previous three tests. Go to class, take notes, make a good cheat sheet and you will do great! 2 easy presentations-grades easily!

Dr. Bates is wonderful. Great lectures, a full page, front and back for each exam except the final, where she only uses questions from the prior exams, and just a great professor overall. If you actually put some work into it it should be one of the easier classes to get an A in.

Great personality: down to earth,kind, sarcastic, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. Easy"B" grade. Went to class only half the time; open note tests;tests straight from book; 2 presentations were easy; class was NOT demanding,if you're a slacker like me, this prof is for you, but you WILL learn something and have a good time in class still.

This class is very easy. Just focus on the book and not her lectures. Most class time spent on discussions dominated by a few people-useless for the test. Only attended a few lectures and got an A, but I was hurt a little on attendance points.

Nice teacher.Lectures are not on test,MUST read book,1 page notes.Tests(3)are mult choice.Takes attendance for pts.Powerpoint slides due night of test by midnight,focus on concept not problem .I did after test and got A, likes pictures in them.Final is first 3 tests so keep them.Posts answers online after test-very cool.Will post grade sheet.
