Brunke doesn't know Ochem. She skips through ppts so fast and her mechanisms are so messy on the board. She tries to answer questions but contradicts herself often. Her grading system is wack, her lectures are worthless to go to, but if you read the textbook, Ace the hw, and do okay on the wksts and you should pass.

I have really loved having Dr. Brunke as my O-chem prof. Everyone warned me, but those who took with Carney or Liskin were struggling when I was doing well. Her class was about 30 kids (compared to the others which were 90 kids) and that really helped me. I would highly recommend. She's also very good at explaining things indifferent ways.

Brunke is super nice and always willing to help. Not coming to class will not hurt you grade but you will miss a lot of information. If she sees you trying and putting in effort she will most defiantly help you. She's not super clear in class, but is pretty good one on one.

I LOVE Dr. Brunke. She is the best professor I've had at CNU so far. Her lectures are not super clear, but all you have to do is go to her office hours and she will explain things to you very clearly. She is invested in your success and offers many opportunities to do well, you just have to take them!

The class is difficult already and she doesn't make it any easier. only harder. she is not clear in class and runs through material very fast so no understanding, does not curve much on test often and also study hard on your own. EVERYTHING. she can say one thing in class and test you on another so know it all. plus teach yourself outside of class

I love Dr. Brunke. She is such a sweetheart. She truly cares about all of her students and wants them to succeed. She gives a lot of opportunities to raise your grade and is super helpful in office hours. Sometimes her lectures and powerpoints are lacking, but doing the homework enforces material. Difficult class, no doubt, but love Brunke.

OChem will be one of the hardest classes you'll take as a bio major, but she really cares about her students and does everything she can to help you out. She always answers emails right away and you can stop by her office anytime and she'll help you. She holds help sessions just about every week. Very easy to connect with on a personal level.

Very bad instructor. She struggles to explain material, and doesn't seem to understand it herself. Tests and worksheets contain many errors that will send you working in the wrong direction. Definitely worth getting up at 8:00 for other instructor..

She taught a difficult subject well enough, but she explained simple things with very complex examples for no reason. She was also very disorganized. Her tests often included a question well above the level we were taught. Most of the test though wasn't too difficult if you study and do the homework.

Great teacher - makes most everything easy to comprehend. if you don't like chemistry, then stay away if you can. but for the rest of us, easy paced, enjoyable teacher. would recommend. there is a lot of work involved, but in the end you'll understand it better.

Dr. Brunke is such an amazing teacher! The class is somewhat hard, but she makes it incredibly easier than organic chemistry ought to be. Her lectures leave you feeling stupid, but she never tests on anything too hard. She gives fun extra credit on the quizzes and tests (once we had to spell "wednesday" correctly). She is an awesome lady!
