Burke is a great teacher and wonderful woman. Shes very funny and makes all of her classes worth attending. She really knows how to teach and is always willing to help her students. The workload is a bit much at times but you really thoroughly learn the material

Love Burke! She is a great lecturer especially because the material is not too easy . Tests are not too difficult if you study. Make sure you go to the tutor before an exam because they most likely have the test from last semester and it is almost identical. Would definitely recommend

The best professor in SUNY Cortland. She truly cares for her students and goes out of her way to assist you if you need it. I wish I could take more classes with her! Explains everything and stops to ask if anyone needs further explanation.

Burke is overall a good teacher my problem is more with her herself. It doesn't really seem like she cares much for students (unless you're a favorite) and it's hard to get her to help help you as she puts 50 million road blocks in your way first. She's very smart and with effort her class is easy, but I just wish she didnt have to give a hard time

Great teacher, cool, down to earth, funny. Stats is a little tricky anyway, but I enjoyed it with her. Taking ECO 222 with her next semester. Great advisor. Take stats with her if you can. She knows her stuff. Only bad part is that she uses on e-book and quiz program that SUCKS and takes up a lot of time outside of class. Oh well, good with the bad

For a 200 level course I was surprised at how often she tried to trick you on the exam. She also had questions that clearly hadn't been finished when she posted the exam, but she wouldn't give any credit for her mistakes. She also was not very helpful if you had a problem. I spent much more time on this course than should have been required.

ive had her before she is an amazing professor. this class is the hardest class ive ever had. its just an ECO elective so dont take it, you can take an easier class to fill the credit. you have to do a 40 page research paper using comp programs that are impossible and you still have mandatory homeworks and tests.ispent 6 hrs a day just 4this class

If you miss a class it wont hurt you that much, but you shouldnt because its all on her tests. In class quizzes she tells you ahead of time, easy! if you do the hw. Tests are moderately easy. She teaches like a hs teacher would so shes not hard to get whatsoever. Very nice, my favorite class and im taking more classes with her.

Class was hard as sh!t. But she found a fair way to teach it. HW's weigh more than tests, at least according to her. Go as much as possible, gives attendence quizzes on fridays. Do all the assignments and HW's the best you can and she'll give u solid grades for sh!t stain work. highly recommended for SPMG morons...

she is a good teacher she just goes to fast and she never explains problems, more than once. her classes are long and if you dont come to class you will probably fail. she also doesnt go over the homework sets she just give you the answers online, which is not always helpful

Burke has saved my life throughout my college experience! she goes above and beyond. she is my advisor but even if she isnt yours she is willing to help you with other courses...future plans etc..
