Fantastic prof. Wish I had taken her earlier in my undergrad. High volume of material and handouts, and stuff can be tough to keep track of, but her sense of humor and knowledge of literature in general and critical analysis in particular makes the class a treat. Just make sure you aren't late or texting.

I have never liked an english class (I am a math person) but Chamberlain made it bearable and at times really fun. She holds everyone to a very high standard but is more than willing to help you reach it if you give it your all. She is one of my favorite professors at E&H.

Great professor. I'm a guy and was in two of her English classes and never had a problem with her. I loved the bonus questions on the quizzes. She really helped me a lot on improving my writing, and did so by using interesting writing exercises in the class that kept me much more interested in literature and grammar than my 11+12 grade teachers.

Kathleen was my professor and sorority (EYN) sponsor when I graduated with major in English 15 years ago. She was cool, smart, attractive, AND fun, and I see her sometimes at Greg McMillan's Homecoming Parties. Fave memory: her passion in lectures about Romantic poetry; I seem to recall best her going adorably nutty about The Eve of St. Agnes!!!
