Hard class if you are not good at writing short essay during the test. The test is very comprehensive, so be prepare. Barely pass the class because of the Professor. Make it or break it. 2 strikes you done. Did not curve the grade for the class. Choose wisely

Professor Hull made a lot of difficult concepts easy. Lectures were well organized and the tests were straightforward if you studied. She always applied old, boring theories to the current world and welcomed discussion. She would answer questions and helped clarify things for me in office hours. Great teacher.

Most boring professor I have ever had. Assigns long readings and asks obscure questions about it for the in class writings. If you don't mention exactly what she wants in them you won't get a good grade. Tests are easy if you go over notes and study guides. Would definitely not take this class again.

Great Professor! She is very direct and to the point. To be successful in her class, read, go to class, and use the study guides she provides before the tests. All power points and hand-outs are available online. She tells everyone when the in class writings will be. Very fair in grading as well!

Professor Pierce is a great teacher. She tries to make things interesting and I thought she did a great job explaining the readings. Go to class, take notes, do the readings, and you will do well. She is clear with her expectations and pretty easy going. There are a lot of readings and sometimes they are hard to keep up with if you get behind

Awesome Sociology professor! She is very clear in her lectures and her study guides help you learn the material for the exams! Very laid back in lecture and won't call students out. TA was also awesome.
