Take her! She is one of the best professors Ive had at NVCC. She is so caring and awesome. There were a ton of extra credit opportunities. She knows what she is talking about and I learned so much. I would definitely recommend taking her class.

Alright guys, DO NOT MISS CLASS. She is amazing but does not post her power points on blackboard so take good notes. What I did was I attended class, took notes and focused on the study guide. The study guide is very similar to the test. You can drop one test or not take it at all. Make sure to do all the little assignments she gives ! TAKE HER.

She's fantastic! she really cares about your grades and has easy assignments. The lectures are really interesting and she likes participation. Her test are kind of hard, though, not impossible.

If you're looking to take psych as an easy science credit, she's great. If you're majoring in it, or if you value your education at all, find someone else. She doesn't have a background in education, so it's no surprise that she is can't keep the course focused or correct wrong answers, valuing worthless participation over constructive teaching.

Professor Lloyd is one of those teachers that really care about your success in their course. There are many extra credit opportunities and easy assignments. The discussions are interesting and is an overall enjoyable course. There aren't many homework assignments, the grades that matter the most are from your exams so remember to take notes!

i love this teacher. she's very sweet and i liked the style of her class. allows lots of oppurtunities for extra credit. and her assignments are fairly easy and not time consuming. although there is alot a material she was able to make it not so bad.

Professor Lloyd is a very nice lady and a good teacher. However, she talks SO quietly which makes it very difficult to hear her no matter where you sit. Her lectures are easy to follow but very heavy and she moves too quick to write all info down. The tests are sort of hard but she is not a harsh grader. I would recommend her for an intro course

Professor Lloyd was fantastic - she is very knowledgeable about her subject and included just the right amount of personal anecdotes from her days as a therapist to keep lectures interesting without straying off-topic. There are lots of opportunities for extra credit and study guides for each exam. The only criticism is that she doesn't post on Bb.

Princ. of Psych is pretty easy if you follow the study guide(will get bad grade if you don't) take notes and MAKE FLASH CARDS. She'll drop lowest test grade bc many ppl do bad on 1st test not expecting it 2 have so much material. Very caring and straightforward. extra cred and not a lot of hw but you have 2 study! 1 of best prof's I've had.

She is a very caring person & I really like the way she approaches & views psychology. However, she is not a great professor. Psychology is such an interesting subject that can be taught in a very fun way, but her lectures are very boring. Make sure to take notes in class because she does not put the powerpoints on blackboard. Overall, not bad.

She's a very sweet and understanding professor. She stays calm all the time. Her lectures weren't very interesting and the tone of voice she uses doesn't help either. Her class is easy if you really devote all your time into it but I had to drop the class. Tests are VERY hard and notes are not on Blackboard.

A lot of homework and you have to work hard to get an A. She is an extremely kind and gentle person. She will answer all of your question and try the best to help you. However, her tests are difficult. Prepare to work!

She is an alright professor...i want to major in PSY so she was DEFF! not the best choice. She basically reads outta the power points which you could do at home and pass the class with an A, basically what i did. Easy A but if ur hoping to learn, then i would say don't take her. LECTURE HEAVY! 4 tests including final, each test has short answers.

She seemed to be a nice professor. And a very kind person but not when it comes to grading. Everything, spelling, words........ she's very picky. Also she doesn't post her notes on BB and mind you all the class tests are based of off her notes. She changes slide like Phew... And she talks too fast. She isn't the best I've encountered. :(

She is very caring and patient. If u have any questions or concerns, just come to her. She will listen to u and help u a lot. To me, she is not only a teacher, but also like my mother who always there to care for me. She will give tons of extra credits. The class is not too difficult, but u have to work hard to earn an A. Study and you'll pay off.

I took Professor Lloyd for PSY 200 and her class was definitely not easy. You do really need to study to do well on her exams. She does provide study guides for exams and gives lots of extra credit. Her exams weren't easy, but they weren't hard either. If you read the textbook and study the study guides you will do fine in her class.
