Thankfully this prof. is retiring after this semester. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER take another one of her classes. She is rude and at times makes hateful remarks to students. If she doesn't like your paper topic you will not get a good grade

I had her in a small class- fiction by american minority women- and I thought she did a wonderful job. She was very nice to all of us, even if there were only a dozen or so.

She's no where near as bad as the others set her out to be. The way she teaches, is difficult, and her grading is even more strict, but she is overall a nice person. She's only teaching graduate courses next semester, and deservedly so.

agreed. Evil. figure id take her another semester, thinking that her opinions of me would change once she got to know me, but alas. she acutally said on one of my papers she handed back (which took a good month) its no wonder you are a math ed major.
