She grades harshly. Study book. Powerpoints are helpful and follow requirements perfectly for speeches. Try to memorize your speech too. Not recommended for people who are terrified talking in front of others, she has no sympathy and will fail you.

She can be nice when she wants to be. Hardest coms teacher at ASU. Have to give 4 speeches and she grades very strict. Notes are on power point, but she goes through the slides fast so it's hard to get everything copied down. If you're a coms major, take her. But if not I would recommend someone easier.

She is very nice and helpful and you will think that you are doing so well, but then BAM at the end of the semester you go from an A to a C!!! She is the strictest/hardest grader i have ever met. I took her hybrid course, so maybe her normal course was better, but she grades as if we are all professional speakers. I DO NOT reccomend taking her!

The class is mostly online, you will only meet as a class to give speeches. She gives you exact examples of what she wants, so pretty much just fill in the blank. Class all around is easy, her tests are pretty vague. I did awesome on my speeches (As) and crappy on tests (Ds) and made it out with a B.

I did not like this class. Its a online class and you are only required to show up to class on the days of speeches. If things are not done exactly how she wants them you can expect to recieve a bad grade. I advice students who are shy in front of others to choose another professor because she can be rude if your speech is not perfect.

This professor is great for students who lack creativity and follow directions explicitly. If you follow the syllabus and show up for class, it's an easy A. She doesn't use the book however the exams has questions from it. If you're sensitive, don't ask questions because she is very condescending.

I got an A in her class by following exactly what she wanted from her outlines. You can be creative and still stick to her outline. The raters who have a problem with it were obviously poor public speakers and totally missed the points from her lectures. She is extremely easy and you will learn a lot about how to communicate on all levels.

Prof Trigg is one of the easiest teachers I have taken so far. She gives you EXACTLY what she wants to be in the speeches. Just plug in your own thoughts, experiences, research, etc. She has a great personality and is very helpful outside of class. Anyone who has a problem with her obviously can't read or follow directions.

Ignore the previous comments about Professor Trigg. Yes- she does watch for plagiarism... as SHE SHOULD!!! Yes- she has a formula for her speeches but IT WORKS! She is by far one of the best professors and she challenges you into becoming better. If that is not what you are looking for then quit college and work at McDonald's

She was awful! If you don't follow her "formula" you won't pass the speeches. There is no room for creativity whatsoever. If you follow her mindless formula, then it will be an easy A, I suppose, but don't get too excited and start speaking from the heart or anything. Terrible professor. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Mrs. Trigg is very understand and easy to get along with. I found this class to be very easy and very helpful for the future. Speaking in front of people is not my thing, but once you get past the first speech, everything else seems to come easy. She will work with you if you need help. Great professor!

This is not a mickey mouse course by any means!!! BUT what you learn in there applies to everyday life!!! I loved, loved, loved this class and would take it over if I could!! She is an awesome professor and always willing to help!! I highly reccomend this class!!!!

Professor is fairly interesting but the class is by no means a "gimme" A. If your taking this class for an easy grade you may want to look elsewhere. Interesting info but the class is much more difficult than it needs to be. A or B is possible with effort.
