Prof. Cowdrick is one of the most delightful people I've ever met - and she is so brilliant, and a very clear teacher. I had no background in vocal pedagogy coming into her graduate pedagogy class, and she would frequently offer to meet with me outside of class to make sure I was understanding everything.

Professor Cowdrick is a wonderful voice teacher. She is thoughtful and caring about her students. She is very sharp and has a good sense of what an individual student really needs. She also is very good at finding the repertoire that suits each individual voice. I have made remarkable improvements with her teaching and continue to do so.

Professor Cowdrick really knows her stuff, and is doing good job of updating her curriculum to use technology. She is very invested in her students, but is disorganized sometimes. I think it's great that she can still go out to perform for herself and that she gets good people to come sub for her. She's the best!

She taught me not only how to sing with passion and technique, but she opened up my feelings and my expression in a way that no other teacher has done before. She is kind and animated, and she will continue to change the lives of opera singers for the rest of her life.

Prof. Cowdrick is an amazing teacher. She teaches solid technique and is equipped with all of the right tools for her job. As well as performing professionally still today, she also teaches Eastman's graduate level pedagogy class - which says a lot about her vast knowledge of singing.
