Absolute disaster. Now gives a quiz every day because people stopped coming to class during our semester. Lectures are strings of random facts, useless. Items due on non-class days, weekends, weekend field trips and pointless labs. To meet her in class one would not guess she had a PhD. At least she is friendly...too much lithium maybe?

Comment:

Dr. Goddard really cares about her students and will spend time with you outside of class if you need extra help. I used to go to her for career advice because my assigned advisor sucked. Make no mistake - her class was very difficult. But she was willing to invest the time in her students to make sure they understood what she was teaching. She's a really great teacher and a great person in general.

I struggled with her class but due only to my own part. Kate will do anything to help her students learn. She is a dedicated researcher and teacher. One of the best.

Excellent teacher who showed a true interest in her students. When we just weren't understanding protein synthesis, she designed representative carboard pieces and put them out on the floor to show us how the process worked. Very caring and empathetic person.

One of the best teachers I've ever had- from elementary school through grad school. Willing to go that extra mile. Very clear, and challenges you to work hard. Learned the most from her than any of the others in the Bio dept. combined

Dr. Goddard is a very strong and responsible woman, leading some students to misinterpret her. However, she's one of the best teachers I've had. Doubling as an administrator, she is sometimes hard to get contact, but always willing to give help when neede
