Professor Duret is genuine with her students and is very clear in explaining what she expects of her students to know for the exams. I had her lab course and we had a 3 day field study trip to Mammoth lakes while we were there we explored lakes, mountains and learned about the glacial processes there Take her for geography lab You'll have fun there

One of the most caring, funny down to earth teachers you'll ever meet. Fun class atmosphere. Get ready to learn. She is extremely smart. Notes and h.w will help you get that "A". Everything she covers comes from notes and h.w. Do the work and you will pass successfully.

Professor Duret is an amazing professor. She gives heavy lectures & taking notes should be number 1 priority in her class. She gives a total of 3 map quizzes, 2 midterms, 1 final, & 5 short quizzes. She has a clear grading criteria. If you study all her notes from the lecture then youll be fine.

Everything you take notes on will be on the test. She doesn't try to trick you or give useless information so pay attention. If you study your notes you'll be fine. There are two papers she assigns that are long, but doable. I wouldn't say easy as pie but maybe sweet as pie haha. I don't know about geog101, but get her for 111! You won't regret it.

Best professor Ever! Had her for both Geography 101 and 111 and couldn't be more satisfied with each class! Professor Duret cares about her students and always explains any questions you have! Just attend class, take notes, and study the notes! Her tests are very staright forward and from her lectures! Wish I could take her again! THANK YOU!!!!

She's one of the most light-hearted and easy going professors I've had. She's really dedicated and teaches in a fun way and loves interacting with the students. Also the final project for her class is probably my favorite one ever. She's an easy grader, no reason for you not to pass this class!

One of the most caring and awesome professors at GCC. She kinda reminds me of Ellen Degeneres with her personality. Her class is as straight forward as it gets, very fair, do the work and get your grade. Take her class and you wont regret it!!
