Dr. Johnson is an amazing teacher. At the very beginning she makes it clear that her classes are not the ones that all you have to do is show up. Your in college and expected to college level work. She challenges me and that's the kind of teacher I expect at undergraduate level.

She expects an unreasonable amount of work. In one week there were 2 (different chapter quizzes),A 5(that's right-5 chapter test, and discussion postings with no less than 6responses-APA format. I am an A student: I get grades for writing assignments in other classes 100,her class 43! Graduate level course wk, Prepare to take no other classes.

Took this class online. The work is not hard or excessive however, her test and quizzes are bullcrap. Several questions on test are designed to trick you and many other questions are obscure and have little or no relevance to " knowing the material". It seems like a shady practice and I will try hard not to take another class of hers.

Dr. Johnson expects more than a minimal effort. She makes it clear up front what your grade will reflect upon minimal performance. This course was challenging due to the intensity of taking a six-week on line course, not due to the subject material.Her grading policies are fair and she expects students to write on a college level, as they should

One thing that became clear during the on-line version of this class is that many of the quiz questions were neither in the assigned reading, nor were they in the instructor provided PPTs. Frustrating to do everything you are supposed to and then find that the in-person class has a huge advantage.

Dr. J is not an easy teacher but you earn the grade you get. She knows research and loves teaching it. there are a lot of quizzes and 4 projects due. You MUST read the book in her classes. Over all a good professor that is willing to help in any way she can.

I love Dr. J s classes. I would pick her classes first. not because they are "easy", but she gives you all the information you need. You know what is expected from you from day 1. Your grade is in your hand as long as you do the work you'll be fine. And she will help you in any way she can!

If you do all of your homework, and read the book, you should pass the class with no problems. I like Dr. J's style of teaching, she has a good sense of humor. I don't usually get bored in her classes.

Took a corrections class. Tests on the internet. Mandatory attendance. She is extremely hypercritical of your writing assignments. You have to take her if your a CJ major at UWF in FWB, but if you're not and a poor paper writer don not take her. She's a cool lady just a hard grader.

Dr. Johnson has a different way of teaching her class. She demands reading the book but she understands that most people don't like to read. She is a very nice person and instructor. She will scare you but don't let her fool you into believing she is a mean person. She is not. She knows what she is talking about. Take her, she is GREAT!!

lots of lectures and a group project. she was very nice and helpful, and even funny! i took during the summer, and she tried to help the days go by, which is a hard thing to do sometimes when attempting to cram three months of info in two weeks!
