Matera rocks! She is smart and funny and interesting and makes chemistry make sense. She should write the textbook for it. Treats her students as equals, never makes you feel stupid for asking a dumb question. Exams were hard (well, yeah, its chemistry!) so pay attention to lecture, take good notes, and study like crazy for them.

Your BW diploma is not worthy without taking a class from this lady--no doubt, she's THE BEST prof on this campus!Her classes are tough, but fair, u WILL know your chem when the sem is over and have fun along the way. a nice prof, who is always willing to help. she prides herself on being tough, which can be good, but sometimes it goes to her head. She demands respect, and if she's not getting it, you'll see it in your grades. go in for help bc she gives answers away-not fair to those that get the answers on own!
