Powell is truly one of the greatest math profs I ever had. It was a privilege being her student--and I hate math. I took Powell's class in the night, when I didn't have to, just b/c I heard she was the best. I got an A+ in Algebra b/c of her and was able to move on to graduate and get my degree. Thank you, Prof. Powell.

I should have read her ratings b4 taking her class. She's absolutely horrible. I took a 6-8 with her and the time did not go by fast enough. She gets annoyed when ppl ask questions and very hard to understand. Won't help after class and even though she claims to have office hours, she's never there.

This is another toss-up. READ BOOK B4 CLASS. And then she's gravy. She kind of reads from book. But pretty good at expressing concepts of Calc. for key concepts... She cares though... A tiny bit hard to understand... somewhat stubborn..
