Kathy was a bright spot in my semester soiled by some of SUNY New Paltz' worst. Kathy loves what she does, loves engaging with students, incredibly clear about assignments, a helpful grader (her comments help make your papers better each time) and extremely knowledgeable on women's history and the issues discussed.

Kathy is really awesome and so down to earth. She brings real life experiences and stories to the table and encourages everyone to speak their mind. Was a somewhat easy grader, but the assignments are super straight forwards so as long as you follow directions you'll do fine. Reading is a must though. Be prepared for that! Would def recommend her!!

I did not have her as my main professor, but in lecture she seemed to really now her stuff. AND THEN! i went to her class a few times and i was so happy, she looks at the world with open eyes, i adore her. She is my personal favorite women's studies professor for womens images and realities

Absolutely LOOOOVED this class. Lecture classes are interesting, but Kathy makes it that much better. Shes funny, her class is really layed back and shes easy to understand. It was one of the best classes I have taken here.
