Took Professor Katie for a winter class. I LOVED this class and I LOVE her! She is an amazing person. She made a condensed class very comfortable and relaxed. Everyone really enjoyed the class and participated. 3 easy papers, 1 group project workshop. Readings on blackboard and postings. A+++ for this GEM of a professor. I will take her again!

Absolutely LOVED her! Gives 4 tests throughout the semester (including final) and drops the lowest (yes, including final). They're all 25 mc questions and she truly cares for her students and wants them to pass. TAKE HER! She literally made my semester.

Comment:

Professor Cumiskey is great. She's very specific about what she wants, and as long as you follow guidelines, you're bound to get a good grade in the class. Attendance was not mandatory, however whenever there is a paper due, she goes over exactly what she wants and some times even answers the questions to the assignments. Very understanding

My college experience would not have been the same without Cumiskey. She is much more then a teacher, and will guide you through your college journey. I took 3 classes with her, and she eventually became my mentor. Without her, I would not be as successful as I am now. Take her!!!!!

Took Cumiskey during a summer session and she made sitting in a classroom for 3.5 hours everyday fly by! You don't even realize how much you are learning because she is such a great teacher. She knows her stuff and I would recommend her to anyone who has the chance of taking her class.

Such a great woman, really helped me when I needed it in anyway, class related or not. Take her if you ever get the chance, she really is worth it and she makes the class fun with discussions and doesn't nitpick about phones or attendance even though students want to attend and pay attention because of how interesting she makes the class. LOVE HER!

Great professor. Honest grading. Clear expectations. Not a stickler for attendance, phones or laptops. Very understanding. Helpful. Overall caring individual but you have to do the work. Textbook not so much needed but use the PowerPoint test preps and you will do well. Anyone who doesn't like this professor is lazy in the worst way.

She is so super duper easy and realllyyy nice. Her tests are all based off of the online powerpoints, but use the textbook for extra references. She's so kind and there for you, inside and outside of college. if you have difficulty with her as your psych professor... donno what to tell ya.

Makes herself available to students and provides great feedback! Lectures can be pretty dull but her reviews are 100% relevant to her tests. Gives students proper preperation and materials to get an A. Work isn't exactly minimal but definitely not abundant. I think she's a great professor and an even more wonderful person. Definitely recommend her!

Cumiskey was incredible! She made class interesting and was really able to get the material stuck into your head. She puts power points online so you never have to waste paper. If you bring your laptop you're set. Seriously study her reviews, they're so helpful & you're guaranteed to pass her exams. She's the sweetest professor ever!

She's a great professor! Very easy to pass her class. She is very lenient with technology, so she allows phones and laptops in her class. She uploads all her PowerPoint lessons onto Blackboard, so whether you listen to her in class or not, she could care less. Very into Psychology and makes it fun!

She is so cool and interesting and open minded... and best of all... EASY. All her tests are EXACTLY from her notes. You don't have to show up to class, but she gives in-class assignments that she uses for your grade (so show up!) her exams are straight forward, multiple choice, and exactly from her lectures. Awesome professor. Recommend 1000%.

Katie is absolutely amazing! She loves what she teaches and it shows. Her love for her job gets the students involved and more into her class. She cracks jokes in class and makes fun of her drawings and she's so down to earth! She is inspirational and very positive. Her lectures are informative but they stick with you and help with review for exams

Katie is so kind and funny! I absolutely love her and recommend her for psych! Her Slides are short and very informative. She is very into her teaching and it shows! Her conversations with the class gets everyone involved and we spend half the class discussing the theorists. Amazing class you won't regret taking her!

She's super inspirational and really nice. She is super open minded and attendance is not mandatory but you will lose out on classwork, which she collects. She's super clear cut on what she wants; she's really open-minded and lax. didnt buy the textbook but you may need it for the exams. Go to the libaray and reserve it and study; you'll be fine.

I liked Dr. Katie Cumiskey. She was a very good professor that was very passionate about what she taught. One thing I didn't like was that she was a very tough grader. She gives you the opportunity to do extra credit. I enjoyed her class and recommend you take her class.

If you think she's 'hard', you just suck at college. Go to the library for a few hours a week like a normal college student and stop with your immature ridicule. She's a great teacher and extremely gripping. Write well and she'll grade accordingly. If you think she's hard, you're lazy and don't wanna be in college for the right reasons.
