Kay is wonderful and so knowledgeable in education and literacy! Her classes we very demanding but so informational. I truly loved exploring the content she provided for us. She is the quickest grader and provides timely feedback! If ever had a question she was quick to answer. What a wonderful woman!

Dr. Kay Gormley's wealth of knowledge and her experiences make her courses enriching and she enlightens students! Kay requires future educators to do our best...as we should. She is candid about her expectations for excellence. Kay genuinely cares about her students and will assist each one to reach her/his full potential. And...she is witty!

Kay is VERY demanding as a professor but VERY good at what she does and, if you have enough motivation to put her suggestions to good use, she is an asset to her student's futures. I find that the students she is rude to are those students who don't put themselves behind their work.

Kay is a gift to Sage! She is dynamic, compassionate and decicated to education. She does whatever she can to make sure new teachers graduating from Sage are capable, knowledgeable and effective in their classrooms! I learned SO much from her over my years at Russell Sage and at Sage Graduate School.I am a teacher now and I owe her much gratitude

Kay is a stickler for grammar but in her class you learn. She doesn't take crap from her students so sometimes she might come off as harsh. But in reality she is really nice and her office door is always open.
