This guy is seriously a bad teacher. He's wishy-washy, plays favorites and does not teach you anything about writing. Class is torture, uninteresting and a waste of time 9/10 times. He assigns A LOT of reading which he will never talk about. Though if you do all the work on time and write exactly what HE wants, you're a cinch to get an A.

Horrible professor! Danner is so biased in his assignments and lectures. Incredily easy though, the class offers little of interest or value. If you don't feel like arguing, just puppet back to him what he says, and you are sure to get an A.

He is a very easy going teacher. So far his grading for essay isnt to hard. All you have to do is read some of the materials to take the quiz. Not a lot of work..it may seem like it but it's not. He'll like you if you jus do all your work and give your opinion in class. than you should be fine

He is horribly biased and super opinionative. He may seem like a nice guy and easy grader at first but you can only get an A in the class if your essay parallels with his opinions. Going to office hours often times did not help. Depending on whether or not he likes you will determine how willing he would be during office hours.

Danner is one super easy teacher. Just half-ass the readings so you have something to talk about in class and he'll like you. He's a fair grader in all his essays because he is such an open-minded grader. I DEFINATELY recommend him, easy A if you keep up, easy B if you try!

i had him for eng 1b and 1c.i got pretty lucky..because he's my favorite teacher here at ucr. he makes class super fun..and its the only class where we all get to know each other. his essays are short..but there's one due like every week and a half or so...pop quiz almost every class meeting..but not hard at all. AWESOME teacher overall! TAKE HIM!

He is very nice. He is very helpful and cares about his students. The class is interesting. You need to turn in more essays but they are short, and he makes essay writing fun. Don't be late to class because he gives pop quizzes.

The class is very interesting. Most assignments are on current issues and not based soley off books. Lots of reading and frequent papers are due. For the most part the class is not that hard but sometimes it seems like there is a lot of work. The only thing bad about Danner is I disagree with alot of his political views.

Despite himself, Danner is super sexy. Once he came to class with his long hair (whats left of it) curled at the ends. The class had a hearty laugh at his expense. Despite all of that, he's a good teacher and the class itself is quite easy.
