Comment:

Keith Maddox is fantastic; he teaches a big class, but if you go to office hours, he's so helpful and really wants to get to know you. Social Psych was interesting with him, and he always tries to make the lectures more interesting with personal stories or demonstrations. Tests are straightforward, and there is one paper, but it's graded fairly.

Professor Maddox was an incredible speaker who clearly cared deeply about his subject area and put an impressive amount of time, effort and personality into each lecture. While the tests were difficult, he made preparation easy and there were only 3. One paper, graded easily. Overall, incredible professor, don't miss out on his classes.

Professor Maddox was an enthusiastic professor who clearly loves what he does. The lectures and activities were pretty interesting. If you study a lot, you'll do fine on tests. That said, the free response questions often cover small topics on slides, so study a lot beforehand. The material was interesting, but to be honest a lot was common sense

I really liked maddox! He was funny and nice. his slides were usually very clear, but sometimes sparse and i would miss the main point of them. overall, i would say he was good!

He's a great professor and all around person. His lectures are funny and informative and he makes sure that everyone has a good grasp of the material by the end of class. His test questions are fair and to the point. All in all, a very good professor

Comment:

Maddox is a genuinely caring professor! Class is awesome and so so interesting - so don't miss it, he's a fun guy and a great lecturer. DO YOUR READINGS. Go over the powerpoints a thousand times because he has open response questions, that you're not going to remember answers to without studying. I got an A and I prepared a lot before exams.

UM...KIND OF FANTASTIC!I had prof. maddox for psych 13: social psych. he feeds off energy from the class, so give him somethng to work with to keep it from being another lecture.Notes posted online, he pays attention to detail and if you pay attention to lecture and do the reading, the tests are a breeze. i got a c in the class. my fault, not his.

He is a clear, funny, and down-to-earth professor. 5% attendance, 25% written (1 paper, careful! grading is rough on this), 70% tests (40pts MC, 20pts written). Non-cumulative! I never sought help, but he implored us to and he answered questions clearly in class.

This class was almost all student lectures so Prof. Maddox didn't really teach much. When he did he was great. Do wish he was more organized, though. Only got one assignment back throughout the entire semester. Super friendly, easygoing guy.

Keeps lectures interesting and clear, doesn't read off powerpoints but rather uses it as a guide. Cracks jokes occasionally and is a generally nice professor. Midterms are fair and Maddox creates study guides to be clear about what is to be expected on tests.
