Dr. Martin is a great instructor. Although, his test are a little difficult. They're 100 questions, scantron. And you only have 4-5 for the whole semester. The tests are the only grades received in the course. He is super kind, but he is also very busy, as he is the dean at RSU. Textbook is not needed. He lectures very in depth so don't miss out!

Really nice guy. First college class taken as a High school senior. Made it very easy for me and explained anything asked with clarity. Tests for entry level course was multiple choice and true and false.

I have had Dr. Martin for two classes. (Cell Biology in 2003 and Ecology of Mammals in 2007) He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He LOVES Sweet Tarts and bats. If you get the chance to go to Black Mesa with him take the chance and go. He won't let you sit still for a minute on that trip, but he makes it well worth your time.

Tests are absolutely exhausting - 2 to 3 hours with many essays. Field trips are fun. Thought the class should have included reproduction as this is important in maintaining mammal populations. A bit of a disapointment.
